Following a record-breaking year that saw the Downtown Candy Crawl reach its highest participation to date, the popular family Halloween celebration is returning to downtown London on Sunday, October 25 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
Canada Life Place, Dundas Place, Downtown London, Eldon House, Covent Garden Market and Museum London are once again coming together to invite families to explore downtown, visit participating businesses and enjoy an afternoon of Halloween-themed activities and entertainment.
Families can create their own Candy Crawl route through downtown, stopping at participating businesses along the way for candy, treats, discounts and special offers. The event also offers opportunities to discover local businesses and experience some of the attractions and destinations that make downtown London a place for families to gather.
Beyond the Candy Crawl itself, the afternoon will feature Halloween activities throughout the downtown core, including games, music and a mini market at Dundas Place.Covent Garden Market will host Halloween activities from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm, including a photo opportunity, treats for children dressed in costume, a bouncy castle, face painting and live Halloween music.
Spooky Gourd Painting will take place at the Eldon House Grounds from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Children can decorate a mini gourd while learning about the history of trick-or-treating. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Eldon House would like to thank Apple Land Station for their donations of mini-white pumpkins and small gourds for our children’s event!
