You’re invited to Join Us as we broadcast LIVE, Friday December 12th at Devonshire Mall!
We’ll be collecting cash and non-perishable food items in support of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul!
This year, the need is greater than ever – in 2024, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul served 187,512 persons (both housed & unhoused) thru their food programs in their 29 conferences across Windsor and Essex County. This represents a 245% increase for homed people and a 915% increase for unhoused people from 2023 – 2024. So far they are seeing an increase of 184% in homed people utilizing their food banks, and a 317% increase in the unhoused population they help feed. In the past four years, they have seen numbers double between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so this growth projection will increase by the end of the year.
