Help Us Keep Kelowna’s Most Vulnerable Warm This Winter!
B Mack & Karly from 99.9 Virgin Radio Kelowna’s Morning Show are back for another year of making a difference with the 8th Annual ‘B Mack & Karly Cold Weather Clothing Drive’!
Running from January 10th to February 28th, during the coldest months of the year, this heartfelt initiative supports the Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society in their mission to keep Kelowna’s most vulnerable warm and cared for.
For the past seven years, your incredible generosity has made a huge impact. Thanks to your donations, over 30,000 items have been collected and distributed to those in need. From winter jackets to blankets, your contributions have warmed more than just the streets of Kelowna – they’ve warmed hearts too.
Why It Matters
B Mack & Karly started this clothing drive eight years ago after witnessing firsthand the struggles faced by Kelowna’s homeless community. Early morning hours revealed the stark reality of those braving the cold, some even seeking refuge outside the station’s downtown headquarters. Determined to create a meaningful solution, they launched this annual drive to rally our amazing Okanagan community – and it has been a resounding success year after year.
