The Downtown Vernon Association is launching the holiday season with Frostival, a free, sparkling street festival on Friday, November 29th. This festive event, spanning four blocks on 30th Avenue (from 30th Street to 34th Street), will feature live music, vendors, holiday characters, oversized decorations, photo opportunities, and family-friendly activities.
Frostival promises a magical experience with surprises around every corner. Enjoy food trucks, festive entertainment, and ample photo opportunities to capture the holiday spirit. A special guest, a jolly old fella, is rumored to make a grand entrance, offering selfie opportunities.
The 3400 block will host a main stage featuring party bands. Local businesses will be decked out for the holidays, offering unique gifts and treats. Don't forget to dress warmly and bring your family (and pets) to kick off the season in style.
Frostival is just the beginning of the Downtown Vernon Association's holiday celebrations. "Christmas Saturdays" will follow on November 30th, December 7th, 14th, and 21st, offering free photos with Santa, elves, and carolers, free parking, music, and the best shopping in town. Many businesses will also be hosting "Shop Late 'Til 8" events on Thursdays in November and December.
Stay tuned to the Downtown Vernon Association's social media for updates and more details as the big night approaches.
