Kick off your holiday shopping season at one of Nova Scotia’s most beloved craft shows! The Dartmouth Handcrafters Show returns to the Zatzman Sportsplex this fall, celebrating over 50 years of showcasing the best in local handmade goods.
It all began in 1974, when six craftspeople with a shared passion for handmade goods formed the Dartmouth Handcrafters Guild. Today, this non-profit organization supports over 170 local artisans each year, offering Guild members the opportunity to showcase their work at this high-quality craft market.
From pottery and woodworking to jewelry, textiles, gourmet foods, and festive décor, the Dartmouth Handcrafters Show offers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience filled with beautifully made, locally crafted treasures.
True to its roots, the Guild donates a portion of proceeds from the show to local charities – a founding tradition that continues to this day. Since its inception, over $270,000 has been donated to more than 90 Nova Scotia charities, making this event not only a vibrant marketplace but also a fun and meaningful way to give back to our community.
